Over the last few weeks, the team has been working with contributors to the Baklava Calibration testnet, adding modules to the network, and doing some backend planning for the next major Lilypad milestones.

We launched a new website for the Lilypad network at Lilypad.tech! Stay up to date on the network roadmap, docs, and more.

Improving the Baklava calibration testnet

As we gear up for the Lilypad incentivized testnet launch in early Q1 2024, Baklava provides an environment for compute providers to integrate their machines and experiment with running workloads directly over decentralized models and datasets.

The Baklava testnet includes upgraded support for rich ML workloads and GPU-accelerated workloads. It also introduces a revamped smart contract interface, making it simpler than ever for developers to deploy and run distributed applications directly on the network.

Integrate AI models running on Lilypad into your app

Lilypad makes it easy to integrate popular AI models (running on the Lilypad distributed compute network) into any frontend! Here's an awesome tutorial for creating a fee-less frontend application on top of a Lilypad module.

Modules supported by Lilypad include Stable Diffusion 0.9, Mistral 7b, LoRa Fine tuning, and more.

Adding modules to Lilypad v2

We have been streamlining the process of adding new modules to the Lilypad network. One of our awesome community members created a test Lilypad module, try it out below!

To view currently supported modules, run a node, or create a module read the docs. Lilypad v2 supports modules including Mistral LLM, Stable Diffusion XL (SDXL 0.9), LoRA fine tuning, Filecoin Data prep, and more.
