🌐 Overview

Over the last few weeks, the team has been focused on backend changes and improvements to the Lilypad Calibration test-net. The network continues to expand in capability with additional A100 GPUs coming online soon. We have a permanent test-net in place for folks to on-board their idle GPUs as resource providers and contribute. Sign up to contribute here!

⛰️ Lilypad Network at ETH Denver 2024!!

Come find the Lilypad team at ETH Denver! We'll be at the main conference as well as many of the Decentralized AI side events starting on Feb/26. We are super excited to see everyone!

• Lilypad CEO Ally Haire will speak at DePin day on Feb/27.

• On Feb 27, Ally will present Lilypad at the Chainlink Buidlthon.

• Catch a Lilypad demo at the Decentralized AI Day on Feb/28 at 1pm.

• At 2:30pm on March 1st, Ally will join an Agents Unleashed AI Conference panel discussing "The Compute & Storage Layers: Challenges & Opportunities Specific to AI & AI Agent Use Cases".

⚒️ Engineering Update

The Lilypad Calibration test-net is a dedicated network for individuals and companies to on-board GPUs to be used in the Lilypad Network. We're in the process of onboarding A100 GPUs to the network and would love to hear what folks would be interested in running on higher end compute!

Setting up a front-end to run AI inference using serverless, decentralized compute from Lilypad

Sam and Jay from team Lilypad created a fabulous guide on building a front end application to run AI inference using Lilypad. It's super easy to either build a front end or integrate Lilypad functionality into your existing front end. Quickly get started running AI models using Lilypad's serverless, decentralized compute within your own app!

Projects building on Lilypad Network

Gadus CLI - by @lesDecroissant & Charlie Durand Gadus

• CLI is turning our 2D maps into open and accessible 3D maps using surface reconstructive via decentralized compute (Bacalhau).

• The project is focused on making 3D maps a public good.

HuggingLily - a throwback project from @EthIstanbul by @tolgayayci and @mertkklu

• The aim of this project is to create a platform that would allow one-click use of Hugging Face's transformers pretrained models through Lilypad.

🔮 What's Next?

Preparations are on-going for ETH Denver as the list of side events continues to grow! We can't wait to share the latest updates at Lilypad with the community. The team looks forward to meeting many of our current and potential partners in the mile high city!
